Oblivion is essentially a "very" polished Morrowind with better graphics. The following emulators are available for this game: NeptunJS (JavaScript), Nesbox (Flash) and Retro (JavaScript).

I'd also recommend tossing some mods in right away as well to improve the NPC look and other graphics, etc. Go into it expecting the disappointment you felt with earlier fallouts and you'll end up pleasantly surprised instead. The great houses are fun to play through, etc. Also, you can make a mana stone that instantly reloads all your mana, etc. You could make some really great weapons. Those are the glaring parts that will probably disappoint. They covered for that fact by having dust storms all the damn time and the birds(whatever they were called) are very annoying. Morrowind also had such a low view range in compared to Oblivion. The thing with Oblivion is that they made the quest system much easier so it really hand holds you. I'd love to go back and play the older ones, but I'm worried I'll be disappointed like I was with the earlier fallout games. Skyrim is one of my all time favorite games. I jumped in on Elder Scrolls when Oblivion came out. It's a LOT of work to get everything working right - but when it's all over, it's a proud moment, that's for sure! Got Hyperspin running as my front-end (what selects your emulator and game you want to play).

I popped a windows 8 Core i5 in my pre-fab cab, using tankstick with track-ball and modded a spinner/steering wheel onto it, and have emulators for damn near every machine ever built. The problems with authentic arcade cabs are:Ģ) most are not in good shape - and the ones that are, you're going to pay 400-1,000 bucks for, depending upon the cab/popularity of it.ģ) many dont come with joysticks/buttons - and buying new ones and wiring is a bear

And it's quite a bit less weight than most arcade cabs.

They are now around 700 - but they are really nice - pretty damn easy to put together.and you have tons of options for marquee, bezel, controller (x-arcade or others), and side-panel artwork. SO - bought one of the pre-fab ones from I think their prices went up a tad recently, as I bought a cab that fits a 27" monitor for around 5-600 bucks a couple years ago. The arcade cabinet had to go.as it weighed a billion pounds and was nearly impossible to move if needed. I've done both.built a mame cabinet out of an arcade cab and wired joysticks/buttons,etc.and built a mame from a pre-fabricated/put it together cabinet. Have maybe three wireless controllers and you could play every game system with at least one of them. Fit your entire library on a box the size of a large cell phone and hook it up to your TV.

You could grab something like a Kangaroo PC and emulate a shit ton of games. I used to have a CD with something like 900 SNES games on it. I understand that it can be fun to collect things, but I'd rather just collect the ROMs. Stay away from those classic video games. I'm going to slow down a bit now - finish the basement - take some time off school - enjoy the summer.

Started Digging boxes out of my parents house to see what I could find - most of my stuff I had as I kid I sold or got lost moving throughout the years. Here is how it has progressed since January. Once I started getting games and systems from local stores. I Organized my stash of games that was floating around and during winter break I set up a little corner of the basement to get my game on - Eventually even found a old CRT to setup.

Was thinking about getting a PS4 during Christmas and instead ended up with a Dreamcast from a pawn shop - while I was there I noticed they had a clean / non yellow looking SNES as well - I eventually a few weeks later picked that up saying " Screw PS4 - I don't need one - Old school gaming is better!" Up until the start of the year I had a N64 / wii u / Gamecube/ PS2 / ps3/ modded PSP floating around the house - Kids had their DS' and I had been too busy to play any games.
